Hey everyone! I recently put together a new PC build, and here are the specs: R5 7500f processor, an RX 7800XT graphics card, 32GB of Corsair DDR5 RAM at 6000 MT, a B650 MSI Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, a Mars Gaming 750W PSU, a 2TB SSD Fury Renegade, and a 1TB Kingston SSD. Despite having this solid setup, I'm experiencing smoothness issues while gaming, particularly in 'Arena Breakout Infinite' and mainly 'Cyberpunk 2077'. Interestingly, when I used Parsec with a friend who was on a really old laptop, everything looked smooth on my end. I'd like to understand why my new build struggles with games at 1080p, even though I had heard it could manage up to 1440p. Any insights or advice would be appreciated!

First, double-check your screen's refresh rate settings. Sometimes, they’re accidentally set to the wrong value, like 60Hz instead of 180Hz. It can make a massive difference in how smooth everything looks during gameplay!
Make sure your monitor is connected to the graphics card, not the motherboard. The RX 7800XT should honestly handle 1440p pretty well, and using it correctly can help a lot with performance.
I'm definitely connected to the GPU, so that's not the problem.
I checked, and it's set to 180Hz.
