Hey everyone! I'm currently using an Asus Prime B660 Plus D4 motherboard with an i5 12400F CPU, and I'm thinking about upgrading to an i5 14600KF along with a Deep Cool AK 620 cooler. My main focus is on gaming, and I'm a bit concerned about temperature management. Do you think my setup with the Asus Prime B660 Plus D4 motherboard, i5 14600KF, and the Deep Cool AK 620 will be alright for gaming?

I also have a 12400F coupled with a 4070 GPU. Just wondering, what’s driving your urge to upgrade? Are you experiencing low FPS or stuttering? It’d be helpful to know the games you play and the settings you're using.

Hey, just a heads up! Do you know what GPU you're using? If you're still on something like a GTX 2060, upgrading the CPU might not help much for gaming since the GPU affects performance significantly. Just curious!

Definitely update your motherboard's BIOS before you make the upgrade. The AK620 cooler is a solid choice and should work well with your new CPU.

I’ve been using a 12400F with an AIO cooler and I'm planning to use the same setup with the 14600KF—it should be great for gaming. You'll be in good shape!

Your motherboard should handle the upgrade just fine! Make sure to update the BIOS now while you're on the 12400F, just to avoid any issues later. The AK620 cooler is also a solid choice—it’ll keep your temperatures in check during gaming.
