Hey everyone, I'm in need of some advice! I'm trying to find a tablet that I can remotely control from a different Wi-Fi network for my elderly mother, who lives in a nursing home. She requires a large screen with big closed captions because she's hard of hearing and has wet macular degeneration, making large text essential. I know there's ways to control a TV, but it's just too far for her to see, so a tablet is the better option. Any suggestions? I'm really stumped! Thanks for your help!

Not sure if this is what you’re looking for, but on iPadOS, if you're in a FaceTime call, you can use the "Share Screen" feature and then click "Allow Remote Control." This lets you control her iPad from afar. You might also explore the accessibility options to use larger icons and text, which could help a lot!
I've seen that too, but I'm worried she might struggle to click 'allow' every time because of her dementia. But thanks for the suggestion!
