After Upgrading My CPU, Why Is My GPU Getting So Hot?

I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 5600G to a Ryzen 9 5900X and also changed the cooler. Now, I've noticed that my GPU hotspot temperature has spiked to around 110°C (230°F). What could be causing this sudden temperature rise? Could it be a software issue or something related to GPU thermals? It was performing fine before the upgrade.

Here's my build:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
- PSU: 850W
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE Aorus B450 Pro WiFi

A common oversight is forgetting to remove the sticker from the bottom of the cooler. Make sure that was taken off, even though it might seem unrelated since it's the GPU having temperature issues not the CPU.

I did remove the sticker, but I understand that it might sound weird since it's the GPU that's getting hot.

Did you notice any boost in FPS after your CPU upgrade? Sometimes, a CPU increase can affect overall system performance, which might indirectly influence GPU temps during intense gaming.

Yeah, I tested it in Minecraft and For Honor, and the FPS definitely increased.
