Why is my high-end gaming PC so slow?

I've got a pretty powerful setup with an RTX 5070ti, Ryzen 7 9800x3d, ROG X870e-e, and a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD with super-fast read speeds. However, I'm noticing that it's really sluggish when loading games like Valorant. The match loading times are longer than I'd expect, and my download speeds during gameplay seem pretty slow too. I suspect the problem might be related to my download speed. I'm not very tech-savvy regarding download speeds and checking my hard drive's performance—how can I find out if there's an issue? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

First, it helps to know your current download speed. You can easily check this by running a speed test. Also, try using the CHKDSK command to check your hard drives for errors. Just to clarify, do you have your games installed on your SSD rather than your HDD? That can make a big difference in performance!

Oh no, I actually have my games on the HDD.
