I'm having trouble with a PC that belongs to a family member. When I start it up, I see the error code Oxc000000f, and the screen says I can press enter to try again or F8 for startup settings. However, when I press either of those options, the screen just blinks. I'm feeling pretty lost right now and worried that I messed something up. I recently opened the command prompt as an administrator to turn on secure boot and ran the commands 'mbr2gpt /validate /allowFullOS' and 'mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS'. After waiting about five minutes and restarting, I came across this error. I would really appreciate any help as I can't even get into the system to fix anything!

If F8 isn’t working, you might need to try booting from a recovery USB or disk. It’s a bit of a hassle, but it could help you access repair tools or even recover your files before you try anything else.
It sounds like your system can't access the boot file. Can you try hitting F8 to see if it takes you to the repair options? Sometimes that helps you troubleshoot further.
Do you think I might lose all the pictures and files on the tower?
Nope, F8 just makes the screen blink for me; it’s really frustrating.
