Hey everyone! I'm in the middle of upgrading my GPU from a 3070 to a 9070 XT, but now I'm stuck on whether to also upgrade my current CPU from a Ryzen 5600X. I'm considering either getting a Ryzen 5700X3D, a 5800X3D, or going all-in on AM5, but I don't want to empty my wallet in the process. What's the best path forward?

If you're looking for the best performance on the AM4 platform, the 5700X3D is a solid choice right now. But it really depends on your gaming habits. If you play competitive games like CS:GO with a 400Hz monitor, then yes, you’ll need a better CPU. But if you’re more focused on 1440p graphics and aren't pushing for max FPS, you might be fine sticking with your current setup for now. Just consider what types of games you play the most.
I usually game at 1440p with a 170Hz display, mainly titles like Helldivers 2 and Death Stranding. I do want to ensure that I can handle upcoming games like Battlefield 6 without too much hassle.
