Why Isn’t My Laptop Connecting to WiFi?

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my Acer Aspire 3 laptop. I've been using it for about a year without any issues, but earlier today while watching YouTube, it started buffering and then suddenly I couldn't connect to the internet at all. My WiFi settings show that I'm connected to my home network, but nothing loads. I tried running the Windows 11 Networking troubleshooter which initially reported a DNS issue. I reset my network settings and even rebooted my router, but the troubleshooter now says everything is fine, yet I still can't connect! I'm really stumped here.

UPDATE: Out of nowhere, it seems to be working again! It's a strange situation. Thanks to anyone who took the time to read this!

Make sure to back up your important files before making any changes to your system. It’s always a good practice just in case something goes wrong! If you need more help, providing system info could be useful too.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely ensure my files are backed up just in case.

It sounds like a frustrating situation! Sometimes it helps to reset the network settings or check your WiFi drivers for updates. If it happens again, you might also want to check if a different device can connect to the same network to see if it's specific to your laptop.

Yeah, I've had my WiFi act funky before too! If you notice this again, try forgetting the network and reconnecting by entering the password again. That worked for me once.
