Hey everyone! I'm currently gaming on a low-tier setup and I'm looking for tips to improve my FPS in Counter-Strike 2. Here's what I'm working with:
- **CPU:** Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.20GHz
- **GPU:** 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B75M-D3H
- **RAM:** 16GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz
- **Storage:** 223GB SPCC SSD
I usually play CS2 about once or twice a week, and while I'm not in a rush to invest over $1,000 in a new PC, I would really like to stabilize my FPS. Right now, during intense moments, my FPS drops to around 50-70 even on low settings (I still want to keep 16:9, no 4:3!). Any ideas on what I should consider upgrading or if I should just save up for a whole new rig?

Honestly, your best bet might be to build a new PC altogether. If you’re looking to stay close to that $1K budget, you could check out some Ryzen processors like the 7500F or 7600 series combined with a decent GPU like the RX 9060 XT. It’ll give you a solid FPS boost!
Thanks for the suggestion! What do you think about this build?
**RYZEN 5 8400F | B850 | 32GB RAM DDR5 | RX9060 XT 16GB | SSD 1TB** or similar options running over 1K in my country.
