Hey everyone! I'm gearing up for my first PC build and I've decided on a Sapphire Pure RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card and an AMD Ryzen 7 9800 processor. I'm really looking for advice on the rest of the parts, especially which motherboard to go with. Any suggestions?

If you're considering the MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 motherboard, it should work fine with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but just be aware that you’ll need to update the BIOS if it doesn't come with version 7D75v1L already installed. Other than that, it’s a solid choice!

If you're aiming for high-quality audio, look for a motherboard that has optical audio out. This can really enhance your sound setup.

I recently built a system with an Asus X670 board. If you're going for better performance with a GPU like the 50 series, I suggest getting a larger case to fit everything comfortably.

I recommend going for any decent B650 motherboard. Just avoid Asrock for now; they've had issues that could potentially damage their x3d chips, although they did release a BIOS fix. It's safer to stick with a different brand for your build.
