I'm on the hunt for a used graphics card and want to stick to a budget of around $150, give or take $20. I'm not sure what my best options are or what to look for. Any recommendations?

I'd recommend checking out the RTX 2070. You can find them around $150, and they're a solid choice. Also, RX 6600s are available at that price point too. I've spotted a few 2070s on Facebook Marketplace for even less, like a 2070 Super for $125. They're great for demanding games thanks to DLSS, but if you're into competitive games, the Radeon might be better due to its lower driver overhead.

I just scored a used 5700 XT for $140. I've been keeping an eye on the GPU market and found most sales haven't been great lately, but it’s worth considering if you find a decent used card.

If you can stretch your budget to $200, an RTX 3070 is fantastic. But for $150, the GTX 1080 Ti is a strong choice, especially for 1080p gaming. However, it lacks features like ray tracing, so don't pay more than $100 for it. Just be aware that some newer games may not run as well on it.

Consider the RX 6600 or 6600 XT, but keep in mind that the 3060s are usually priced higher—like $200 and up. My friend was hunting for a 3060 recently and found them in that price range, which is a bit out of your budget. However, if you can snag a great local deal, the 3060 is a good option.

If you're nearby Chicago, I've got an EVGA RTX 2080 Ti for $170! It's a bit higher than your budget, but it’s a beast of a card.
