Help! My new PC keeps freezing and restarting during games

I've been facing some frustrating issues with my new PC where it completely freezes while playing games like the Battlefield 6 beta. It freezes for about 20 seconds, loops the audio, and then auto-restarts. This has happened twice now. Initially, I thought it was my RAM causing the problem because after crashing, the speeds defaulted back to 4800 MHz when I thought I had EXPO enabled. However, after some tinkering, it's been stable at 5800 MHz according to Task Manager. So far, I've logged around 100 hours of gaming before these crashes occurred. I've run Cinebench tests for performance and temps, and everything appears normal. I'm considering whether this could be related to a RAM or GPU driver issue. What troubleshooting steps would you recommend I take before reinstalling any drivers?

It sounds like your RAM might be unstable. Are you using four sticks, or mixing different kits? Both scenarios can make DDR5 XMP/EXPO unreliable. Also, keep in mind that Cinebench isn’t always a great indicator of RAM stability. You might want to run a more intensive stress test like Prime95 in large FFT mode to really check your RAM.

I’m using one kit of 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 6000MHz; my motherboard only has 2 slots.
