Hey folks! I'm finally ready to upgrade my PC after five years, even though it's still running fine. I really want to play the new Battlefield and of course, GTA when it drops. Currently, I have an RX 580 and a Ryzen 5 3600, along with 32GB of RAM, and my motherboard is a TUF Gaming B450-Plus with a 650W PSU. I'm definitely looking to upgrade my CPU and GPU, but I'm not sure what my best options are. I'm considering the Ryzen 7 5700X3D since I'm fairly certain my motherboard supports it, but what kind of GPUs should I be looking at that would pair well? Also, will my PSU be able to handle these upgrades?

The 5700X3D is a solid choice, but pricing can be high, so check out used ones if you're okay with that. For GPUs, you’ll want something around 300W or less like the 5070Ti or anything below the RX 9070. Just steer clear of cards requiring an 8-pin PCIe Gen 5 connection like the 5060 since your board supports Gen 3, which could bottleneck performance.
I found the CPU for $285 at a local store, which isn’t bad. The 5070Ti is steep, and you mentioned to avoid the 5060—what should I look for in the 50 series then?
