I'm experiencing extreme overheating issues with my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52 i5 8300H. Even while just running Roblox and charging, the temperature spikes to 94-101 degrees Celsius. I've tried following some videos on ThrottleStop to manage this, but it hasn't helped. What could be causing this overheating problem?

Is your laptop actually overheating on the keyboard? Is that from the CPU or GPU? If the keys are burning, you might have a bad battery, or maybe it's on a soft surface blocking the ventilation. Clogged intakes or malfunctioning fans could also be causing this issue—sometimes it’s a combination of things.

It's the CPU and GPU running hot, but I have it on a table, not on a soft surface.

You should check if the fan is actually working. Listen for noises or anything unusual that might indicate it's malfunctioning. If it's running smoothly, that's a good sign!

It works fine with no strange noises at all.
