I'm setting up a small lab and want to help some clients save on IT costs, so I'm in search of reliable vendors for used Dell servers. Recently, I've found eBay and Amazon to be unreliable—some listings are vague, and I've had issues with equipment arriving with broken drives or untested DIMMs. I'm okay with purchasing used gear, but I'd prefer to buy from sellers who thoroughly test and warranty their products, even if it means paying a bit more. Does anyone have recommendations for trustworthy vendors or marketplaces that stock and test used Dell servers? Any tips or sellers you've personally had good experiences with would be greatly appreciated!

For lab setups, you might want to check out the homelabsales subreddit; I've found some solid deals there. If you're looking for a more formal option, I’ve purchased refurbished gear from ServerMonkey and never had any issues with them.
I’ve bought used equipment from the Server Store for my lab, and they've done a fantastic job of cleaning and resetting systems back to factory settings, very satisfied!
I've had a lot of success buying from Stallard—they have consistently provided great products and service.
Consider checking out Alta Technologies; I've heard good things about them from various users.
We've been using ServerMonkey for years without any problems. They've been reliable for our needs.
+1 for Stallard, great people to work with!
