I'm looking for some advice on whether the 5070ti or 9070xt is a better choice for 1440p gaming. I'm aiming for at least 144 fps and I don't care much about ray tracing. I'd like to future-proof my setup a bit and I'm fine with medium settings, but I want to utilize DLSS or FSR for better performance. Price isn't a big concern for me; I'd prefer to invest in a solid GPU that will last.

Both cards are excellent for 1440p! They’re quite similar overall, so if one is cheaper or easier to find, just go with that one. You won't be disappointed with either.
Honestly, I'd go with the 9070xt if you’re not using ray tracing. They are pretty much neck and neck in performance, but I think the 9070xt can handle some games that the 5070ti might struggle with later on. Plus, you'll save a bit on power usage with the 9070xt.
If the price is similar, I say go for the one that has better reviews based on your needs.
Between the two, the 5070ti typically offers better performance, especially since DLSS is more widely supported than FSR. If you want solid frame rates at 1440p without ray tracing, you can't go wrong with either card, but I'd lean towards the 5070ti for its future-proofing benefits.
I agree! I just got the 5070ti and it runs great at 1440p!
That makes sense! The DLSS support is definitely a big plus.
Good point! My friend has the 9070xt and he’s really happy with it.
