I'm looking for a way for my CEO's assistant to be able to start all of her Teams meetings, especially if she runs behind. The Co-organizer role seems to fit what we need, but we want to avoid having to assign it for every single meeting. Is there a method for making the assistant a co-organizer for all meetings, or is there an alternative that would still enable them to start a meeting if the CEO is late?

If the assistant has Editor rights to the CEO's calendar, they'll be able to access any meeting and join it directly. However, it's important to make sure they have the right permissions; otherwise, it may not work as expected.
Make sure your Teams settings are configured in a way that allows meetings to start when anyone internal joins. This is typically the default setting and helps avoid issues when the organizer is unavailable. It’s more effective than having everyone wait in the lobby for the organizer.
One option is to have the assistant schedule the meetings instead, making the CEO a co-organizer. If the CEO is frequently delayed, that's probably the simplest solution rather than relying entirely on tech. Sometimes it's just about adjusting procedures rather than finding a tech fix.
