I'm considering using a 1stPlayer NGDP Gold 850W power supply with my Asus Prime H310M A R2.0 motherboard for my new build. I've heard some warnings about compatibility issues, but since I'm getting a nearly new power supply that comes with all the necessary cables, I'm wondering if it will be a good fit with my motherboard. Any thoughts?

I don't really see why it wouldn't work. The 1stPlayer NGDP is a modular power supply, so as long as it has all the standard ATX cables, you should be fine. Can you share more about the concerns you heard? Like, what kind of issues were mentioned? A common question is whether the power supply has enough wattage for the whole build, especially if you're planning to use something demanding like an RTX 3070. Just make sure the rest of your components are compatible too!
No worries, the wires should fit your motherboard perfectly fine. They're standard cables, so as long as you're not using some odd setup, there shouldn't be any issues. Just make sure your power supply has the right wattage for all your components, especially with an RTX 3070 on the way!
I heard the same about cable fittings, but honestly, the cables are pretty standard unless you're dealing with some specific prebuilt systems like Dell or HP. You should be good!
