Hey everyone! I recently picked up an ASUS Prime 5070 TI, and I'm using a MAG A850GL PSU. The problem is, my PSU only has two 6+2 PCIe cables, while the GPU requires an adapter with three 8-pin slots. Right now, I've plugged in two 6+2 cables and everything seems to be working perfectly fine—I'm getting around 120-130 FPS on Ultra with Ray Tracing in Red Dead Redemption. However, I'm curious if I should look for a third PCIe 8-pin cable for my PSU or if I'm good as is. That empty slot is a bit annoying! Also, any recommendations for brands that offer compatible cables for this PSU?

Yeah, you definitely should try to get that third PCIe cable. Each GPU power connector requires its own cable from the PSU. If you use one cable to power two plugs, it could lead to stability issues or even damage. For purchasing cables, I highly recommend CableMod; they're well-known for quality, though they can be a bit pricey. You could also check out places like AliExpress or Amazon, just make sure to look at feedback before buying. You might also want to ask MSI support directly about sourcing spare cables from them, though their responses can be hit or miss!
Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'll go the CableMod route after I contact support.
