I accidentally deleted some photos from my phone while my siblings were using it, and now I can't find them anywhere. They weren't in the trash, so I'm assuming they've been permanently deleted. Is there a way to recover them? I've searched everywhere and I'm worried they've really vanished for good. Any advice on how to get them back?

It might help if you share what kind of phone you have. The recovery options can vary a lot between different devices.
If you haven't already, check your cloud storage settings right away. Sometimes things are still stored there even if you think they're permanently deleted.
Check if your photos were backed up to a cloud service! Sometimes deleted photos can end up in a cloud trash bin, especially if you use services like Google Photos or OneDrive. You might find them there even if they seem gone from your phone.
If you're using an iPhone, take a look in the 'Recently Deleted' folder. You can find this under 'Albums' at the bottom of your Photos app. You’ll see the countdown of days left to recover those photos—each one starts at 30 days!
I've had a similar issue with my Samsung phone where photos disappeared. I ended up using a recovery app that managed to find and get them back for me. I just can’t remember the name of the app, but it was worth it!
