I'm looking to set up a dedicated Minecraft server and need some advice on the hardware. I plan to use an old office PC case and get an AM4 motherboard. For the CPU, I'm considering either the Ryzen 5 5500, 5600, or 5600X. I'm also aiming for 32GB of DDR4 RAM since I intend to publish this server to a small community with several plugins and mods. Is this setup sufficient, or am I missing something? Additionally, how many watts should I look for in the power supply? Would it be more cost-effective to go with a mini PC instead? Also, I'm thinking of adding a 512GB to 1TB SSD for storage.

Honestly, you don't need much to run a Minecraft server. An older office PC for around $50 with an i5 or i7 can do the trick for a small group. If you're sharing it with more than just friends, you might want to look into a slightly better setup though!
I'm actually planning to publish it for a community, so I might need something a bit more robust!
