I've been having some issues with my keyboard lately. It started acting up and producing strange outputs. I tried unplugging it and plugging it into different USB ports, but nothing changed. I'm worried that it might be because of a couple of reasons: either my long shower created some humidity issues or there's a hairline crack in the cord where it connects to the keyboard. Should I just wait to see if it fixes itself, or would it be smarter to buy a backup keyboard now? I can't really game with the on-screen keyboard in Windows!

It’s probably that cracked cable causing the trouble, not the humidity. I’d advise getting a spare keyboard before it gets worse!
When was the last time you gave it a clean? Maybe try giving it a gentle shake. If you can pop off the keycaps, take a dry brush to clean up underneath!

Thanks! That’s solid advice.
