Will my Ryzen 5 5600 be too weak for an RX 9060 XT 16GB?

I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600 paired with an RX 6600, and I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU for better performance but without breaking the bank. I'm considering either the RX 9060 XT 16GB or the 3080 12GB since they are similarly priced. I know the 3080 is slightly more powerful, but I'm leaning towards the 9060 because it has FSR 4 and might be more future-proof. However, I'm mainly concerned about whether my Ryzen 5 5600 will bottleneck these cards, especially since I'm using an AM4 motherboard with PCIe Gen 4 support.

I'd definitely go for the 9060 XT based on your reasoning. It seems like you've put a lot of thought into this—your 5600 will handle it well!

Your pairing should be decent! Just remember, nothing's truly future-proof in PC gaming. But for now, you should be good to go!

Totally agree, as long as you don't push super high settings at lower resolutions.

Nope, your Ryzen 5 5600 shouldn't bottleneck the RX 9060 XT, especially if you're gaming at 1440p or higher. The CPU and GPU will work just fine together, and it's a solid upgrade.

Yeah, I've seen some good comparisons on this, and they show it really won’t hold you back!
