Hey everyone! I'm a newbie to iOS and just got my iPhone 16 Pro Max. I've noticed that my battery went from 100% to 95% in just 2 hours of very light use, including about 30 minutes on Instagram. Typically, I manage to get around 5 hours of screen-on time (SOT) from 7 AM to 10 PM. I've heard some folks get up to 10 or even 12 hours of SOT, so I'm wondering if my experience is normal. Just FYI, I'm on iOS version 18.6 and my battery health is still at 100% after 5 days of use.

If you have the charging limit set to 80%, that could be affecting your overall runtime. You're not using the full capacity each day if you're only charging to 80%. If you’re not planning to keep the phone for more than two years, you might want to consider using the full battery. Also, there’s a detailed article on how the 80% limit affects the Pro Max battery life—could be worth a read!
That's a fair point! I don't have a charging limit myself, but I'm keeping an eye on the battery health for the long run. With my regular use, I've seen my battery drop to around 82% after 2 hours of Instagram, starting from 100% at 7 AM. What do you think? Is that concerning?
