Frustrated with Low FPS on My Powerful PC, Need Help!

Hey everyone! I'm really at my wit's end here. After dealing with issues on my PC for about 3-4 years, I've come to Reddit for help. My main problem is that I'm experiencing low performance in the Battlefield 6 beta, and I'm struggling to hit 60 fps, which is really frustrating. I've got a pretty solid setup: a 4070 GPU, an i5 13600kf CPU, a 1000W power supply, 64GB of 3600mhz Corsair RAM, and a B760 DDR4 motherboard. Despite this, I consistently get lower fps compared to my friends who have comparable systems, and it drives me crazy.

I used to have a 550W power supply but switched to a 1000W thinking that might solve my issue, but unfortunately, it didn't help. I've scoured YouTube and Reddit for tips on optimizing my BIOS and Nvidia settings, and even tried tweaking Microsoft and game settings along with overclocking using MSI Afterburner, but nothing seems to make a difference.

For reference, I can run Warframe on medium settings at 130-150 fps, but in the BF6 Beta, I can barely scrape by at 47 fps on the lowest settings. Games like DayZ give me 90-120 fps at extreme render distance but newer titles just don't perform well. I really don't understand why, and I'm at the point where I'm considering selling my rig and starting fresh if I can't fix this issue. Anyone have some suggestions, even the ones that might sound silly?

Also, my monitor is a 244Hz Viewsonic 1080p.

A lot of people are experiencing performance issues with Battlefield because the game is missing DLSS right now. The devs are working on a fix, so as frustrating as it is, you might just need to wait it out for an update. There are some workarounds floating around in the community that you could look into too!

First off, have you checked your temperatures? Under load, they can give you a hint if something's off. Also, what type of builds do your friends have? If their setups are AMD and they're older, it still could be that they have some optimization in their angles that you're missing. Plus, have you looked into the potential degradation issues with Intel's 13th and 14th generations?

My friends are running similar AMD builds, but they're not top of the line. My GPU usually sits cool at around 50-60°C, but my CPU goes up to 75-87°C under load.

That low fps sounds really out of the ordinary for your setup. What resolution are you gaming at? If it's 1080p, you should definitely be getting better performance. Check this performance benchmark link I found; it shows how your specs should handle BF6: [link].

Yeah, I'm playing on 1080p.
