Issues Running Steam Games on Endeavour OS

I'm currently using Endeavour OS with kernel version 6.16.0-arch2-1 and I've installed Steam using the command 'sudo pacman -S steam'. For compatibility, I'm running the latest Proton-GE version along with Wine, Winetricks, Proton, and Protontricks. Despite having everything updated, I'm facing issues getting any games to work. I've specifically tried playing 'My Summer Car' and 'Schedule 1', but neither runs. I've also attempted launching the games through Winetricks and Protontricks to no avail. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

Make sure to check what GPU and driver you’re using. If you have an NVIDIA card like a 1660ti, make sure you’re using the proprietary NVIDIA drivers instead of the open-source ones. Also, trying out the experimental Proton version in Steam could help—many users have had success that way.

I am using the NVIDIA drivers that came with EndeavourOS. Would switching to the experimental Proton really make a difference?

Have you checked ProtonDB for your specific games? It’s a great resource for getting tips on running games on Proton. Also, what drive did you install the games on? Sometimes, the installation location can cause issues too.

Yep, I’ve checked ProtonDB and followed the instructions they suggested. I only have one drive for everything, so that shouldn't be the issue.
