Hey folks, I've got a 32GB RAM setup on my PC, but it seems that 16.1GB is being reserved for hardware, and I can't figure out why. I've tried a few things to troubleshoot this: I've updated the BIOS, disabled integrated graphics, unchecked the 'Maximum Memory' option in msconfig, and enabled XMP mode. Still, my RAM is constantly at 89% usage, making it tough to run applications efficiently.
My motherboard is the X570 Aorus Elite WiFi, and I'm using Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM. This issue has persisted for months, and I'm running out of ideas. Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated!

It sounds like your GPU might be taking up more RAM than expected. If your system is sharing RAM with the GPU, it could lead to that high 'hardware reserved' number. You can check what’s using the memory by heading to the Resource Monitor or Task Manager. Just click on the 'Memory' tab to see what's taking up space. Windows has built-in tools that should help diagnose this without needing any extra software. Give that a shot and see what you find!
Just to clarify, my GPU is an RTX 3060, but it shouldn't be causing that much to be listed as 'Hardware Reserved'. Resource Monitor shows a lot is indeed reserved, which feels unusually high. I’ll share some screenshots to illustrate!
