Is My CPU Temperature Normal at 80°C During Heavy Gaming?

Hey everyone! I recently built my gaming PC about 2-3 weeks ago with a Ryzen 5 7500F and an RTX 5060 Ti in a Mini-ITX case. While playing the Battlefield 6 Beta on the highest 2K settings, I noticed that my CPU temperature spiked to around 80°C. Is this temperature normal for this type of hardware, or should I be concerned given the small size of my case? Thanks for any advice!

Just a heads up, if your CPU cooler is working fine and keeping those temperatures around 80°C, you're ok. Modern processors are designed to throttle and keep themselves safe, so no need to stress unless it starts going beyond that consistently.

Yep, that's perfectly fine! These Ryzen 7000 series chips can run quite hot, and 80°C is within safe limits. Just keep an eye on it, but you're looking good!

Exactly! They’re designed to manage heat well. As long as you’re not hitting 90°C, you're in great shape.

Your CPU temperatures are totally normal, especially under full load while gaming. Modern CPUs like the Ryzen 5 7500F can handle temperatures like that without any issues. You're far from danger, so no need to worry!

It’s totally cool! As long as the temperatures are stable and not jumping up drastically during usage, you're doing great. Just enjoy your gaming!

Honestly, 80°C is no big deal. Even up to 90°C is considered safe for most CPUs when they're under load. If you're using an air cooler, it can handle quite a bit before throttling happens, so you're fine!
