Need Suggestions for a Budget-Friendly Sysadmin ‘Go Bag’

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for some solid backpack options to use as a 'go bag' for my work as a sysadmin. I'm aiming to build out three bags total—one for home, one for the office, and one for my car—so I really need something functional and durable. I'd love to keep the budget around $60 USD max.

I'm looking for a bag that is water-resistant, comfortable with padded straps, and durable enough to hold its shape while protecting my essentials. My typical gear includes a 14" laptop, various cables, chargers, drives, tools, a change of clothes, and some snacks. I've checked a local sporting goods store but found their options to be lacking in quality and too pricey, so I might try Best Buy next. Any recommendations?

Have you thought about incorporating a toothbrush or other personal items? Just a thought! By the way, why specifically a backpack? How far do you expect to carry it?

I actually use a large laptop roller bag—it keeps everything organized really well! Since I only have one go bag, it’s more cost-effective for me. But if three bags fit your plan, I totally get it! Just sharing a different approach.

Check out this bag—I found it super useful for a similar setup! It has great reviews for being durable and functional. [Link to the bag](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BDGB442)!

Haha, this sounds like my emergency bag for when everything hits the fan! If you're still looking for good recommendations, the County Comm Bail Out Bag might be worth checking out. I have an older version, and it’s been pretty versatile for different uses. They seem to have improved it too!
