Hey everyone! I'm starting a YouTube channel and I need some advice on what kind of PC to get. I'm mainly looking to run Minecraft with a few small mods and also do some recording while playing. My budget isn't huge, so any affordable recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you're looking for something dedicated for gaming, I'd really recommend going for a desktop over a laptop. Even the top gaming laptops can't match the performance of a desktop with the same price tag. If portability isn’t a must, a desktop would be the way to go.
You can grab a decent AM4 system for about $400 that’ll be more than enough to run Minecraft, even with some shaders and mods. Minecraft is pretty light on resources, so you should be good. For recording, just get a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card, and you can use ShadowPlay to record without much impact on performance.
I'd suggest avoiding MSI laptops. I got one recently, and I’m having battery issues after just a couple of gaming sessions. It crashes quite a bit when I play games like Fortnite too. I’m planning to switch to an Asus laptop since they have a better reputation. Just be cautious about MSI!
