Is a 450W PSU enough for an AMD 3600 and RX 580?

I'm looking to upgrade my aging setup that currently has a 1050 Ti and an i3-8100, but I don't want to break the bank. I'm mainly playing on a 1080p/60Hz monitor. Would a 450W power supply be sufficient for running an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and an RX 580?

While a 450W PSU may work, if you're thinking about future upgrades, you might want to invest in a higher wattage PSU now. It'll save you some hassle down the line, and a PSU can last for a long time!

Yeah, a 450W PSU should do the trick for your setup! The Ryzen 5 3600 typically draws about 80W at full load, and the RX 580 needs around 200-220W. So, you should be in the clear.

Sure, it's enough for now, but keep in mind the RX 580 is a decent bump up from the 1050 Ti. If you can manage a bit more cash, consider a 2060 or 2060 Super for better performance.
