I've been pondering whether I should upgrade my CPU. I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 1500X and I'm considering switching to a Ryzen 5 5600X since I'm running it on an AORUS B450 Elite motherboard. What do you all think?

You should totally go for the upgrade! The Ryzen 1st generation hasn't aged well, and a 5600X is a much better option now.

I’m using a 5600X with a 6750XT for 1440p gaming, and it performs excellently. Just a heads up, the AM4 X3D chips are getting phased out, so if you can, look into AM5 for more future-proofing.
I upgraded my BIOS and had a close call with my system bricking, so be careful! But I'm still ready to make the jump.
