I'm considering an upgrade from my RTX 3070, which I've had for around three years. I found a deal for a brand-new dual fan RTX 5070 at 450 euros, and I'm wondering if it's a good decision. I feel like 8GB of VRAM is becoming insufficient, and switching to the 5070 with 12GB sounds appealing. Is this a worthwhile upgrade?

Honestly, don't pay too much attention to the VRAM naysayers. I've been gaming on a 5070 at 1440p with max settings, and it handles newer titles without trouble. It's more than sufficient for my needs!
The 5070 is about 50% faster than the 3070 and it has 50% more VRAM. It really depends on your personal needs, but that upgrade could be a good move!

Exactly! My wife's set up with an 8GB 4060, and it runs nearly everything smoothly at 4K. The 5070 should definitely pull through for you.
