I'm looking to upgrade my CPU for better performance in music production, particularly when exporting tracks. I also do some CAD work and enjoy casual gaming at 1080p, with plans to eventually move up to 1440p. I'm not considering the 5700X3D because it's a bit pricey at around £235+ shipping, and I'm unsure about its performance for my primary tasks since gaming isn't my main focus. I'm evaluating a few options: the 5800X for £125, the 5800XT for £160, and surprisingly, the 5950X is cheaper than the 5900X at £210. What do you all think? My system specs are 64GB DDR4-3600 C16 RAM, an RX 9060 XT 16GB graphics card, and a B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard.

Make sure to check if your music production software can utilize all 16 cores and 32 threads of the 5950X. If it can’t, then the 5800X might be a better and more cost-effective option for you.
I mainly use REAPER, and it's known for its efficiency with multicore processing, so I think it should work great!
