I'm putting together a dual-GPU setup and need a motherboard that supports two full PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (electrical, not just physical ones). My budget is tight, so I'm after the most cost-effective option that fits these requirements. I'm hoping to find models that would work, preferably AMD. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Unfortunately, consumer AM5 CPUs only have up to 28 PCIe lanes, meaning you won't find a motherboard with two full x16 slots. Your best option would likely be boards with 2 x 8 slots, which are equivalent to the same bandwidth as a 4.0 x16 setup. For two 5.0 x16 slots, you'd need to invest in a high-end desktop CPU and motherboard, which can get pricey.
Honestly, you won't find a dual x16 setup on consumer platforms. The best you might come across is two PCIe 5.0 x8 slots. AMD's design means that out of 24 lanes dedicated to GPUs, a few are reserved for M.2 slots and USB ports. If you're set on dual x16, you’ll probably want to look into Threadripper processors and corresponding server motherboards. Alternatively, the ProArt line could have what you need!
