Looking to Upgrade My GPU on a Budget

I've been using the same graphics card for a while now and I'm considering an upgrade. I'm not very knowledgeable about PCs, so I'm unsure what options might be better than my current one. I'm willing to spend around $100-$150 for a new graphics card, and even a mid-range option would be fine for me. Right now, I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB DDR5. Also, just to note, I'm okay with purchasing a used card since I plan on checking eBay mainly for deals.

Your budget is a bit tight for a new GPU, so you'll mainly want to explore the second-hand market. You could potentially find older models that still perform well without breaking the bank.

If you're looking for a solid upgrade, consider aiming for a used RTX 2070. They can provide a substantial performance boost compared to your GTX 1060. It’s a good option within your budget if you can find one in decent condition. Just keep an eye on listings and jump on a good deal!

If you're considering new options, an RX 6600 typically goes for $200-$250, but you might find a used one closer to your price range around $150. It’s also worth checking out various sales and promotions in your area.

For someone on a budget like you, it’s definitely smart to look for deals on used parts. Sites like eBay can be great if you know what you're looking for!

Depending on where you are located, prices can vary quite a lot. Just be sure to check local listings and online marketplaces. Sometimes, you can snag a good deal that's not listed on eBay.
