Experiencing BSOD When Launching Rematch After EAC Initializes

Hey everyone, I'm running into a major issue where I keep getting a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with an unexpected_kernel_mode_trap error every time I try to start Rematch. This crash happens right after EasyAntiCheat (EAC) kicks in. Interestingly, I don't have this issue with Elden Ring Nightrein, which also uses EAC. I've tried all the usual fixes: I've reinstalled my drivers, verified and reinstalled game files, made sure no overlay programs are running, and launched the game as an administrator. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work. I'm about to give up on the game entirely, but I'm hoping someone here might have some insight to help me out before I throw in the towel. I've also attached a minidump file for further analysis.

First off, make sure you're collecting the dump files from your crashes—these are really important for diagnosing BSODs properly. If you can boot into Windows normally or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any dump files. If you find any, zip that folder and upload it to a file-sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. It’s vital to have multiple dump files for a thorough analysis. Depending on your setup, consider following the guide to switch your dump type to Small Memory Dump for better results.

It looks like your motherboard might be using an outdated BIOS version. The dump file suggests you're still on the first release (0215) which can often cause stability issues. I'd recommend updating your BIOS to the latest version available on the ASUS support page for your motherboard model. Once you do that, check if you're still experiencing the BSOD. It could really help with performance and compatibility.

EasyAntiCheat can be quite tricky, and it sounds like you've hit a wall with the usual DIY troubleshooting. If you haven’t done so already, there are dedicated forums and support communities specifically for EAC and gaming. It might be worthwhile to ask there for more specialized advice since they deal with similar issues frequently.
