Hey everyone! I just got my hands on a Ryzen 7 9800X3D for a great price, and I'm upgrading from a Ryzen 7 3800X with 16GB DDR4 RAM to 32GB DDR5. I've noticed my CPU struggles with some games lately, especially Battlefield 2042, so I'm excited about this upgrade. However, I'm torn between getting an X870, an X670E, or maybe even a B850 motherboard. I've heard mixed advice, and I want to make sure I don't run into issues like TPM and secure boot that I've had with my current board. What do you think I should go for?

The key difference between X870E and X670E is that the X870E has lanes for a secondary NVMe shared with USB4 ports. So if USB4 isn’t a must-have for you, you might save some cash with the X670E, which is generally cheaper. However, make sure to consider your current needs first!

What about BIOS features like secure boot or TPM? Will they still be troublesome with either of these options?
