What PC upgrades should I consider for better gaming performance?

I'm looking to improve my gaming experience on titles like Minecraft with shaders, Red Dead Redemption, and Black Myth. Currently, I play on a 1080p setup but just got a 1440p monitor from a friend. I have a budget of $600, and my current setup includes a 3060 Ti, a Ryzen 5700G processor, a B550M motherboard, and 64GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM. I'm open to upgrading any part of my system for better performance. Any recommendations?

Consider grabbing a Ryzen 7 5800X3D if you can find one! It's a solid upgrade for gaming, and you can hold onto some cash for future upgrades. But I’d say focus on that GPU for now to maximize frame rates at 1440p.

Upgrading to the 5800X3D is an excellent choice for gaming, but you'll see the biggest impact with a new GPU right now.

If you're looking for a significant performance boost, you might want to upgrade your GPU first, especially since you're moving to 1440p. The 9070 would be a great choice if you can find it within your budget. Also, make sure your power supply can handle the new card—at least 500W is recommended.

I checked, and I've got a 650W power supply, so I should be good to go!

You can also check your PSU compatibility on sites like PC Part Picker to be extra sure!
