I'm looking to get a new graphics card and I'm torn between the RX 9060 XT 16GB for $300 and the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB for $400. I mostly play competitive FPS games at 1440p. Which one would be a better choice for my needs?

If you're mainly into competitive games, the RX 9060 XT is a solid pick. Though the RTX 5060 Ti offers a slight performance edge—just about 5 fps at 1440p—it isn't really worth the extra $100. Save that cash! The RX 9060 XT will handle your competitive FPS without any issues, especially since ray tracing isn't a big deal in esports.

Totally agree! Plus, for $90 more, the 16GB version of the 9060 XT should future-proof you a bit better, especially with modern games that can be bigger resource hogs.

Exactly! And with the 5060 Ti getting a rep for some inconsistent frame times, the 9060 XT might actually feel smoother in those crucial moments.

Honestly, the RX 9060 XT is the way to go here. You’re really just paying for a few extra fps with the 5060 Ti, and that’s not enough to justify the price difference, especially for competitive gaming.

Dude, no way should you drop $400 on a card that barely performs better! Stick with the RX 9060 XT and pocket the savings!

You’re getting ripped if you don’t go for the RX 9060 XT at that price. The bang for your buck is way better with it, especially for competitive play.
