I'm looking to upgrade from my 3070 and I'm trying to decide between the RX 9070XT and the RTX 5070Ti. I'm particularly curious about how well the RX performs in ray tracing right now, but I don't care much about performance tuning. Any thoughts on which card I should go for?

Both cards are pretty close in performance overall. It really comes down to what games you prefer to play since some work better on one card than the other. If one's on sale, go for it! Be sure to check out some benchmarks on YouTube to get a better idea.
The RX 9070XT is getting better, especially if you can snag it at MSRP. However, its price typically hovers near that of the 5070Ti, which is slightly superior. So, if you're looking for performance, the 5070Ti might be the safer bet.
The 5070Ti is definitely a no-brainer; it's better in nearly all aspects.
I'd say go for the 5070Ti—it's just the better option overall. Even with a $50 price difference for the AMD card, it’s not worth it. The Nvidia card has better performance across the board, especially if you're not into ray tracing.
Yeah, benchmarks can really help see how they perform with specific games you're into.
