I'm planning to get a 13.6-inch MacBook for high school since I'm interested in mechatronics and computer science. I've started learning C++, but I'm not sure if the screen size will be sufficient for coding. Any advice on this? Also, I have a PC at home, but I'm curious about what I might need for school courses.

I've used 13-inch laptops for coding for two decades now, and I can say it's perfectly fine. You get used to the size!
For general C++ coding, a MacBook is a great choice! Just keep in mind that a larger screen could make things easier. It might also be worth checking in with your teacher about any specific software requirements, as some robot kits may only run on Windows.
It's true that a 13-inch keyboard is compact, but it's the same size as the one on the 15" MacBook Pro. Just know that the speakers differ.
A 13-inch MacBook should work fine for programming, especially if you can connect it to a larger monitor at home for more screen real estate when you need it.
