Hey everyone, I'm running into an issue trying to restore my iPhone backup. I'm getting an error message saying the backup isn't compatible with my current device. I did a backup while I was using the beta version of iOS 26, but then I downgraded back to the stable version 18.6. I've made sure my iOS is updated, but I still can't restore my data. Any advice on how I can recover my backup?

It sounds like you're facing a common problem with iOS backups. Once you create a backup on a beta version like iOS 26, it can't be used with an older version like 18.6. Unfortunately, you'll need to upgrade back to iOS 26 to restore that backup. A little messy, I know!
Yeah, backups from beta versions usually aren't compatible with stable releases, so that's probably why you're stuck. If you need that data back, consider updating to the beta again just for that restore process.
