How to Unlock BitLocker Drives After Changing Secure Boot Settings?

I recently messed around with my BIOS settings by enabling and disabling secure boot while trying to play Battlefield 6 open beta. Unfortunately, it seems like this locked my hard drive with BitLocker. I managed to format my C drive and reinstalled Windows, but my other hard disk is still locked. I've been trying to recover the BitLocker key from my Microsoft account, but I keep getting a 'too many requests' error when I log in.

It sounds like you made a common mistake when altering BIOS settings. Next time, instead of formatting, try re-enabling secure boot, then disable BitLocker to decrypt your drive. After it's decrypted, you can toggle secure boot again without losing access. Just be patient and try to get your recovery key from Microsoft again in a day or so; the system needs some time to reset those requests.

Also, just a heads-up—changing BIOS settings can lead to data loss. Always double-check your backups before making any system changes. It's easy to overlook it in the heat of the moment!
