I'm having trouble updating my Windows. Whenever I check for updates in the settings, it tells me that I need to update because I'm missing important security features, but I can't find the option to actually install the updates anywhere on my PC. I'm looking for some help here!

One thing to check is whether your motherboard has a TPM chip installed, especially if your PC is older. This requirement can keep you from upgrading to Windows 11. Also, I'm curious, did you get any specific error messages during this process?
Have you tried running the Windows Update troubleshooter? It sometimes can fix these kinds of issues automatically.
I ran it and it said no problems were found.
It sounds like you might need to post a screenshot to help diagnose the issue better. Have you tried that? It would give a clearer picture of what you're seeing.
I couldn't post the screenshot in the main thread but I added it in the replies!
Sometimes, it can be due to the end of support for older Windows versions. Have you checked the advanced options? There might be additional settings you can explore that could help with the update process.
Does pressing 'Check for Updates' not respond at all?
How can I check if my motherboard has that chip?
