I haven't used my laptop for a few months, and when I finally turned it on, I noticed that several keys, including backspace, T, and Y, have stopped working. In total, about 6 or 7 keys are unresponsive. I've mainly been using the laptop for work and watching videos, with occasional gaming, but I kept it safe during the time I wasn't using it. I'm also on Windows 11 and tried to upgrade it, but ran into some issues while downloading. Does anyone have an idea why this might have happened?

I've had similar issues before, especially with HP laptops. If yours is HP, it might be time for a new keyboard since replacements are usually easy to install. Just something to keep in mind!
Just a reminder, whenever you're making changes to your system like BIOS or disk setup, make sure to back up important data first. You never know when something might go wrong!
If you really need to type, try using the onscreen keyboard available in the accessibility settings. It's a handy workaround until you figure out what's wrong with the actual keyboard.

I actually meant the built-in keyboard, not an external one.
