I've run into a frustrating problem with my Windows system. Initially, I was having issues with Groove Music, so I tried using some PowerShell scripts to fix it. The problem didn't get resolved, and now I find that my File Explorer is completely unresponsive whenever I try to access a drive. The Microsoft Store opens but gives me an error when I attempt to install apps like Groove Music, saying that something went wrong on their end. The Snipping Tool also causes my cursor to glitch, making me unable to click on anything until I restart my PC. The weird part is, I can still browse files through Groove Music, but I can't do it in File Explorer. I've also attempted to enable Windows Search from the services and got an error about the RPC server being unavailable. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

It sounds like your drive might need some serious attention. Since you have run those scripts messing with permissions, checkdisk could have caused some access problems. It's known to leave permissions blank if it finds bad data. You might want to run a checkdisk or consider whether the drive itself is having hardware issues.
Have you tried running the command `sfc /scannow`? It's a built-in Windows tool that might help fix system file issues. You can run it in the Command Prompt with admin rights.
I gave that a shot, but unfortunately, it didn’t resolve my issue.
No, I haven’t! How do I run that?
I just wanted to listen to music, and now my Windows seems completely messed up. I'm worried about that 'Error 1722: The RPC server is unavailable' message whenever I try to start Windows Search. I might just have to use an alternative file explorer for now. At least my games are still running fine.
