Should I Upgrade to Windows 11 with an Unsupported CPU?

Hey everyone! I've got a PC with an i7 6700k processor, Asus Z170 motherboard, 16GB of RAM, and a GTX 1080. Unfortunately, I can't afford to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, or RAM right now. With Windows 10 support ending soon, I'm wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to Windows 11 anyway. Also, I'm concerned about using Faceit anticheat, which requires TPM 2.0 and secure boot. Is Windows 11 even a viable option for me? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

You really need to think this one through. Many newer games will soon require TPM 2.0, which you can get for your motherboard for a small fee, but bypassing the CPU requirement could lead to problems with game support in the future.

I get that concern, but my main issue is the lack of future security updates. I’m trying to make the best of my current setup until I can afford upgrades.

You might be able to bypass the TPM requirement using Rufus to install Windows 11, but I can't guarantee it won't cause issues with things like anticheat software.
