I've been having some major performance issues with my PC lately. I've scanned for viruses and cleared up memory, so I now have 566 GB free out of 930 GB. Despite that, I'm barely getting 3 fps on even the simplest games, which is frustrating since my computer used to handle more demanding games without a hitch. Now, it can't even manage Minecraft or load websites smoothly. I checked the task manager, and I noticed that Opera GX was using a lot of memory, but I don't keep it open when I'm gaming. What could be causing this?

You should check your PC's temperatures first, as overheating can really slow things down. Also, I highly recommend uninstalling Opera GX; it's known for consuming an unnecessary amount of RAM without much benefit. Try switching to Chrome or something lighter.
How do I check the temperatures? Would Chrome be a better choice?
