Hey everyone! I'm trying to get an idea of how much it would cost to build a gaming PC with specs that match the Acer Predator Helios 5090. If you have insights on parts or a rough budget, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! 🙂

You can't replicate the exact specs since we don't know the exact parts Acer uses. That said, I found a build that has similar specs here: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LdVBBq). Just keep in mind that laptop versions are usually down-tuned for power efficiency, so a desktop version can perform better. Also, the Helios 5090 laptop uses a chip similar to the desktop 5080, so that's something to consider when comparing.
A comparable PC build could run about $3500. But in reality, the 5090 laptop is a bit weaker than the desktop version and is more aligned with the performance of a 5080. Here’s a suggested build based on my research: [PCPartPicker Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nzVBBq). It's equipped with a really nice 4K OLED monitor too!
If portability is a factor for you, check this smaller form factor build I found: [PCPartPicker Mini Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VzVBBq). It includes a portable monitor option as well!
I'm a bit confused about how to send a screenshot of what I'm trying to show. Is this link to my shopping cart what I need for the build? [Overclockers Cart](https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cart)
Just to clarify, the laptop 5090 actually uses the same chip as the desktop 5080, so it's pretty much a limited version of that. Worth noting!.
